There are observation towers for every taste in the Matsalu tourism area. There are taller metal towers as well as lower wooden ones. Haeska observation tower on the south coast of the Matsalu Bay can be considered the tower with the best view. It is on private land, but can be visited from sunrise to sunset.

Several towers are connected with hiking trails. From the tower you can observe birds and animals, but also the landscape characteristical to Matsalu and its change according to the seasons.
